Hi,
I have MGMaps loaded on my Nokia 5800, which I strap on to the handlebar of my bicycle. it works as a great GPS!
The problem is that this awesome phone has a 360 x 640 pixels, 3.2 inches screen. what this means, is that the pixels are very VERY small. (for comparison, the iPhone has a 320 x 480 pixels, 3.5 inches screen).

I've found that when zooming in, the temporarily show stretched maps that show till the new zoom level loads, are much easier to read.

So my request is this: allow setting an artificial screen resolution (in pixels or % of native), or allow a setting of "stretching the tiles (to, say 400px), that way, even if the image isn't as sharp, it's still legible on a high-resolution screen from 50cm away.

This is similar to a previous request, but takes it a little further.

Thanks,
-Ethan

Thanks for the suggestion. There's a feature in MGMaps v1.4x (development version) called "Double size", it displays everything double size, may be good for high-res screens.

Thanks, that sounds promising.
Though the new version gave me a few problems on the Nokia 5800...
(I think sticking with the phone's native menu interface is better than creating one within MGMaps, since the one you built appears way too small and hard to operate on hi-res touch screens...
