waypoints and sounds

first off let me say I really like the app and it runs smoothely on my bb 9000 well done guys. The only problem as I see it is that offline maps create so many map files that my blackberry crashed/hung when scanning the sd-card. Is there a way for tar maps etc?

But mainly Im wondering if you can create customised waypoints with attached sound and pics/text (mp3 preferably) Does Mgmaps support the gpx format?

I have managed to get this to work with the trekbuddy app but your gui is slightly more user friendly so would be great if this was available in mgmaps
