Hi,
Just want to report that the GoogleTer URL used in MapTileCacher.perl v1.39 seems to be wrong. It would only work if I replace it with the URL used in gMapMaker.

OK, this is it:
a little list of proxy server in app.conf
I just have to use a bunch of proxy server and then google won't kick me, like it doesn't for gmapmaker.
soon...

Sorry, but I don't continue any work with MapTileCacher.perl because gMapMaker is so much better and even without any proxy server, just with a delay of 150 ms.
A delay in MapTileCacher didn't work for me, maybe I didn't put it on the right moment, but no problem with gMapMaker.
I am using gMapMaker now since a while and I never got kicked out like with the perl script, so why using it?
The only reason maybe would be if you don't have Windows, but I have.
I use these settings in gMapMaker, I use 1024 Tiles per file, this is still fast enough in my phone and I don't have so many single files:
http://www.abload.de/img/graphic_27_04_201108_47j6g.jpg
And the link for GoogleTer in gMapMaker.exe.config is:
Code: | <setting name="GoogleTerURL" serializeAs="String">
<value>http://mt{GOOG_DIGIT}.google.com/vt/lyrs=t@999,r@999&hl=en&x={X}&y={Y}&z={ZOOM}&s={GALILEO}</value>
</setting> |
I think you have to fix this, because with the original link I didn't get any tile. Maybe it is already fixed in the actual version v0.7.3.7 of gMapMaker.
I use a map file as operation mode, because I can download more than one zoom level with this. Without a map file you have to start gMapMaker for each zoom again.
map files can be built on mapcacher.com
Try it!
