Hello,
it would be really great if someone could figure out how to add a new map source from www.maps.lt or the beta version beta.maps.lt . Because it's the most detail map of Lithuania. I dont know if this is even possible.

It is probably possible. The question is who will have time to do it? Want to do it yourself? If you have C# skills I can get you some sample code to get you started.

I have some c++, java skills. The main problem I think is how to get the correct image according to the coordinates from that webpage. As I can see the image links are random. If you can the a look, maybe you could point me where to start.

Just found some relation in the links to the png's.
Also attaching an example of zoom L00.

Here's an example of the link:

http://beta.maps.lt/arcgiscache_mapslt2/mapslt/Layers/_alllayers/L05/R000001da/C00000297.png

the L05 represents zoom, starts from L00.
Then R000001da, starts from the top ant goes to the bottom, while the C00000297 parameter shows panning from left to right and is generated in the same manner. I think something like this (I could be wrong, need to check it further):

R000001aa
R000001ab
R000001ac
R000001ad
R000001ae
R000001af
R000001a0
R000001a1
R000001a2
R000001a3
R000001a4
R000001a5
R000001a6
R000001a7
R000001a8
R000001a9
R000001ba

OK, so they are split into tiles, but what is the relation between tile number and coordinates? what projection does it use?

As far as I can see, they use some kind of their own numbering system. When I'll have some free time, I'll try to find the relation to the coordinates, maybe someone else will see it sooner.

Well what you can do is for every zoom level....have a starting point (left, top at 0,0 as lat, long) and than add (based on tile width and height assuming you also know as number in lat, long) Rolling Eyes this way you can start calculating which tile comes from which coordinates. Idea

Please add maps.lt (Lithuanian) source to MGMaps. GMap.NET (http://greatmaps.codeplex.com/) have it.
Or maybe is some way to convert GMap.NET cache to MGMaps cache?
