This is normal, there is no specific v1.41 for Blackberry. I'll work on that only when v1.4 gets to replace v1.3 as the main branch. |

Does this mean that it is not possible to install a jar-file on a Blackberry? |

It is possible to install jars in general, but not the generic version of MGMaps. That's why we have the blackberry-specific version! |

When i installed the BB version, after a while the link in my BB to start mgmaps disappeared.
I had to reinstall MGMaps with the Desktop Manager.
This happened twice.
Now i am on holiday where i wanted to use mgmaps and
It disappeared again.
I tried to install it with the jar now because i have no computer here but this doesn't work.
I guess i have to wait for a stable BB version for mgmaps then or can i make the jar
Version work for BB by myself? |

Yes, indeed! I thought i installed (the changed version) mmaps, but i will uninstall google maps and try again, when i am back at my computer.
But anyway, is it possible to save some maps on the memorycard and use them with mgmaps offline?
I didn't got any maps when i was without (wireless) connection, even when i saw them online just before and i put the offline memory on maximum (65535). |

You can preload maps, but MGMaps will not save maps viewed while in online mode. Also, use a lower value for the memory, I think most blackberry phones don't have that much memory. Try to stay under 8 megs (8192 kB). |

I don't understand this: i can preload maps but i can not save them in online mode, so only in offline mode, but how could i download maps beeing offline!?
And also i don't want to download the maps on my Blackberry memory (only 15 megs) but on the memorycard (8 gigs!) - this is then not possible? |

In this moment, teh aplication can`t save maps, it download or preload maps to memory, and use it, but not save.
In offline mode, the aplication can`t download maps, because is OFFLINE, it use the maps downloaded in your PC with any program like gmapmaker o sasplanet, and saved in your Memory card.
maybe in a future version, can be posible save maps to SD.
P.D. Sorry for my english, i am spanish. |

Nice, it is working with BlackBerry 8900 Curve OS 5.0.681
The application has totally changed!
After several weeks of test i can say it is better then the 1.3x and it is stable.
Great!
Edit: one bug: if i start MGMaps, the GPS Navigation is off, i cannot save that it is on when starting. That means, the actual position is not shown until i set:
Menu / GPS / Start GPS Navigation
This is a little annoying, because i want to see each time where i am, when starting MGMaps. So this should be the default behaviour. I guess the bug is, that the setting:
Menu / Settings / GPS / Start GPS Navigation
can't be saved somehow. And as there is only this 1.41.18 version for BB, i guess this bug is fixed later, but not for the BlackBerry
