Is it possible to add in.maps.yahoo.com as a route search provider.
Google doesn't provide route info for India, and yahoo india maps are a decent source.
Also, www.mapmyindia.com has a nice route search.
Mapmyindia also has a java program which we can install on the phone and use to look at maps, and search for directions. However, this program doesn't support GPS( paid version supports gps ) so can't be used to navigate, only to plan.
Can you pls help us Indians out. Nokia maps are very hard to use whereas mgmaps has a clean interface

Please see the other topics about these issues. This is planned but is low priority considering all the other features planned...

I had actually done a search for this, but none of the threads were useful.
I am not asking you to add it as a mapsource, as you had mentioned it used 256x256 tiles which are causing problems.
I just wish to know if it is possible to use it to search for routes. Even Yahoo india maps are a good source. Google maps unfortunately doesn't provide directions for India

You may also wish to look at the java version of mapmyindia. It uses completely different map tiles which look simpler.

Thanks again Very Happy
