empty folders when downloading Googlemaps via gmapmaker

Since several weeks/months I am not anymore able to download
Google road maps or Google terain maps via gmapmaker:
I do get the proper folder-structure but the folders appear to be
alle empty!
The procedure I follow is creating a *.map -file via www.mapcacher.com
and than downloading the files via gmapmaker with the option
MGMaps mode, use a .map file. During the download proces the
several .mgm filenames alre shown on te screen, but afterwords
they are not found on the computer, let alone found in the
folder structure (empty folders)
What do I wrong, can anybody help? It used to work allright!
