MGMaps v1.30 alpha includes an improved zooming feature, there's now a short delay between a press a zoom key and the actual zooming and you can quickly zoom in or out several levels by pressing * or # several times. In addition, during the zooming the new zoom level is shown in a slider in the right part of the screen. This feature is experimental, post your opinions about it below.

Works great, no issues with it, and I like the slider.

Hi, Just Upgraded to 1.30.11

With the Zoom, if you zoom out quickly eg. 8 levels. the program will crash with

java/lang/IllegalArgumentException

I'm assuming it would be like a devide by 0 thing.

Did you zoom out by keeping the zoom key pressed or by pressing it repeatedly? I tried it on my phone and it stops zooming - actually it continues to change the zoom level, but the zoom slider does no longer update. I suspect that the bug is like you said - a divide-by-zero or a zero-width image that occurs when the zoomed-out image is less than 1 pixel wide. I'll fix it in the next version.

Thanks,
Cristian

Zoom key being pressed repeatedly or held down gives the same result.
