Draw a line between two points

This application is great. I really like it a lot.
I would suggest adding a feature to draw a line on the map between two given points (from Favorites or actual GPS position) and display the distance and direction. (a similar feature exists in G*Earth)
By the way, I can see that if you display Favorites/Details, the app. should show the Distance from GPS and Direction from GPS. However, the latter is not working for me. Do you have any hints why? (I use it offline, but I suppose it should work anyway)
